Culinary Creations

Culinary Creations provides hands-on food service job training for immigrants and others who face barriers to employment, including limited English proficiency. Participants work as part of a small team to prepare fresh, quality school lunches and catered food orders—building valuable skills and experience.

The goal is for participants to leave the program with the skills, confidence, and relevent language training needed to successfully find long-term employment in the food service industry.

Culinary Creations offers:

» Practical work experience
» Food safety training (ServSafe)

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. When openings are available, applicants will be contacted. The process includes a paper application, interview, and background check (note: past convictions do not necessarily prevent participation).

Training Program Application

Culinary Creations Catering is a food service job training program, part of Catholic Charities of Madison and the Catholic Multicultural Center. Thank you for your interest in our program. This two-week training is designed to support immigrants and individuals seeking to build practical, hands-on skills in the culinary industry. Participants gain valuable experience that prepares them for employment in food service and related fields. The original paper application is available upon request by contacting our office. After submitting your application, a staff member will respond within two business days to share the next available start date.
