Meet Fannicia "Nici" Hawkins, Manager of Community Resources at The Beacon
With more than 20 years of experience in leadership, customer service, and nonprofit management, Nici brings a unique blend of operational expertise and community-focused service to her role. Before joining the nonprofit sector, she built a successful career in restaurant leadership, developing skills in team management, conflict resolution, and creating welcoming environments for diverse populations.
Since joining The Beacon in 2017, Nici has held several leadership positions, from Reception Coordinator to Program Director, and now Manager of Community Resources. She has helped strengthen community partnerships, improve services, and expand support for individuals experiencing homelessness.
Known for her collaborative approach and ability to connect people and resources, Nici is passionate about building strong community relationships and creating solutions that improve outcomes for vulnerable individuals. Her leadership is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and a belief in the power of people working together to create meaningful change.
