Kelly Medenwaldt

Kelly joined the Catholic Charities team in 1997. She spent over 15 of those years working directly with our Developmental Disability Programs. Since then she has worked within our Aging Services and has provided supervision to The Beacon and Hope Haven. She transitioned to Executive Director of Programs in 2019. In that role, she directly supervises the Directors of each of the five program areas Catholic Charities of Madison serves. She also works to ensure quality services are provided within our programs and regularly looks for opportunities for agency and program growth.
Why do you love Catholic Charities?
Having been with the agency and having worked directly in so many of our program areas, I have seen first hand the positive impact our programs have on the individuals we serve. Whether it be through direct contact with those we support or working closely with program staff, I have seen the smiles and heard the thank yous, and I know that we are truly making a difference in the lives of those we work with. Not only is that difference being made in their lives, but in the lives of their family members and the community at large. To do this work each day with others within the organization who are compassionate, work tirelessly, are creative and like to have fun makes it absolutely worth it!
