Parish School Counseling
Catholic Charities Parish School Counseling

Catholic school children develop a sense of emotional well-being and self-esteem through our school counseling program.

Who We Serve:

The Parish School Counseling Program makes available counseling services for all Catholic Schools in the Madison Diocese.

The nature of services can vary according to the needs of the school. The amount of time that the counselor spends at the school can vary according to school needs and budget. The three most common services requested by schools include the following:
  • Individual, group and classroom counseling for the students
  • Consultation for administrators and teachers regarding the students' emotional, academic and behavioral well-being
  • Brief counseling with parents making referrals when long-term mental health treatment is indicated
