Program Success
Increased independence has come for Eric as he adjusts to his new life in the Community Living Program in Marquette County.

Born with developmental disabilities, Eric lived with his parents until he was 33 years old. With Community Living Program staff support, he learned to deal with roommates and to make some of his own decisions. He's joined a church, made new friends, and continues to grow as he makes positive changes in his life.

Community Living

Community Living Program

The Community Living Program provides community-based residential support services to individuals with developmental disabilities living in Marquette County.

The support that the Community Living Program offers enables adults with developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible in the community and have maximum choice and control over their lives. Objectives are to provide individualized support that will assist the client in developing daily living skills, to enhance clients' participation in the community as valued members, and to enable individuals to live in the least restrictive settings.

The program is consumer directed and focuses on consumer needs and preferences. The program emphasizes the diverse and unique abilities of each person served, while at the same time, providing a safe, well supervised environment where the support needs and characteristics of each consumer are best served.
