Catholic Charities has Autism Specialists on staff with our Developmental Disabilities and Traumatic Brain Injury Programs. Our specialists serve Dane and Rock Counties by offering information and resources related to Autism Spectrum Disorders; consult with teams around specific concerns; provide trainings and host a yearly Autism Conference.
The earlier a child’s developmental delays are discovered, the more opportunities there are for a child to increase skills and abilities. The goal is to help children participate in their communities.
Community Connections provides adults with developmental disabilities the opportunity for daily community integration and meaningful activity. We serve clients from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday. Clients are assessed for admission to Community Connections following a recommendation by their case manager.
The Community Living Program provides community-based residential support services to individuals with developmental disabilities living in Marquette County. The support that the Community Living Program offers enables adults with developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible in the community and have maximum choice and control over their lives.
Developmental Disability Counseling helps people with developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injury experience self-actualization and integration. We promote individual choice and each person’s right to freedom and dignity.
The goal for the Recreation Program is to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in meeting their social, leisure, and recreational needs. Participants are given opportunities to increase their socialization, develop friendships, and stay active in the community.
The philosophy of the Support Broker Program is to provide services that assist in developing the self-sufficiency of individuals, and to protect, preserve, and promote dignity of all persons. Our belief is that people with developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injury, and their families, have both the ability and the right to make decisions that influence their lives.
The Supportive Living Program strives to provide support that enables persons with developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injury to live as independently as possible in their own homes in the community, and have maximum choice and control over their lives.
Youth Living Alternatives provides care for kids and adolescents ages 10-17 with autism, severe emotional disturbances or developmental disabilities.
