Mary has always wanted to be a runway model, but she thought she would have to move to New York to do it.  For the past three years, her dream has been a reality.  Mary has participated in the Fashion Show for All Abilities presented by the Waisman Center in Madison, Wisconsin. She was one of the 50 models that participated this year.

In April and May, Mary participated in the Self Esteem and Personal Care Series offered though the Waisman Center, which was in correlation with the fashion show.  She learned about self esteem, clothing and accessorizing, hair and make-up.  At the end of the series, she participated in a photo shoot, which she loved.  Mary looked forward to going to the series every Monday and was excited to tell people about what she learned.

At the Fashion Show, which was held at the Monona Terrace on May 27th, Mary was all smiles when she walked up and down the runway in her new dress and jewelry.  She loved the cameras flashing and people applauding her as she posed.  Mary looks forward to the fashion show each year and is hoping to be a part of the event every year.
