Our free caregiver training consists of a one-day class that focuses on the essentials of caregiving.  You will learn moving and lifting techniques, positioning and transferring as well as incontinence issues and infection control.  You are in the company of other caregivers who understand and identify with your challenges.   The trainer, Jean Mueller, is a Registered Nurse with over 30 years of caregiving experience both professionally and personally.  She understands the unique challenges of providing care for family members and can offer practical solutions to many of issues caregivers face.

Classes are held at Meriter Home Health offices on the West Beltline Highway and are offered on Saturdays as well as weekdays so that all caregivers can be accommodated.
