Fun with Fashion! Catholic Charities in Janesville

The Rock County Recreation Program and Catholic Charities are holding their second annual Fall Fashion Show on Friday, September 3, 2010 at KANDU Industries, 1741 Adele Street, Janesville, WI. There will be 15 models and it is open to the public. We're asking for a $2.00 donation at the door. There will be door prizes and appetizers. For more information or to ask questions, contact Pat Poffenberger or Jodie Klamm at 752-4993.

Catholic Charities' Developmental Disability Counseling Program in Rock County held their first Fall Fashion Show on Friday, November 6, 2009. The event kicked off with 13 models in three categories of style. Each individual had a chance to traverse the runway and model in his or her own individual style in time to upbeat, popular music. Three models chose to dress in sporty outfits, three in casual and seven chose formal attire.

Models participated in two dress rehearsals. Catholic Charities staff volunteered time and talents in hairstyling, makeup, dressing, and helping the models practice their walks across the stage. Each model did an amazing job and all were very excited to make their runway debuts! At the end of the show, they received flowers, a standing ovation, and an opportunity to pose for photos. Special thanks go to Best Events in Janesville for hosting last year's event.
