Stirring the Pot is a series of community celebrations that highlight local food producers and their products. Two picnics have been held so far, one on June 27th and the other on August 22nd. Both were well attended and successful! Be sure to attend the final celebration on October 17, 2010.
Marian Slaughter, Project Coordinator for our "Caring for Myself" program was on a gospel radio show called "Let's Go to Church” on August 8th, 2010. This program is co-hosted by Pastor David Smith and Pastor Ernest Winters and is broadcast between 7:00 am to 9:00 am on Madison’s 1670 WTDY AM.
